Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) is a kind of vitamin, it is widely used as an additive in premixes, concentrates and feeds with the action of improving the nutrient of feeds, promoting growth of animals, livestock and poultry.

Vitamin B2 is a coenzyme in metabolism, in which hydrogen is transferred from one substance to another and eventually discharged by water. VB2 promotes the degradation of carbohydrates, fatty acids, and amino acids, and releases energy for tissues by transferring with hydrogen atoms. As a component of two coenzymes, flavin mononucleotide (FMN) and flavin adenine dinucleotide (FAD), Vitamin B2 is the carrier of electron transfer in the process of biological REDOX reaction of energy release.
